Welcome to KineticScholar ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website at kineticscholar.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About KineticScholar

KineticScholar provides free, curriculum-aligned math worksheets for students from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12. Students may complete worksheets online for instant grading or download print-ready PDFs. Parents, teachers, and organizations may use the platform to monitor student progress and manage worksheet assignments.

2. Eligibility & Age Requirements

To create an account independently, you must be at least 16 years old. This age threshold reflects the strictest digital-consent age across the jurisdictions we serve:

• United States — COPPA requires parental consent for children under 13.
• Canada — Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) requires parental consent for those under 14.
• European Union — GDPR Article 8 sets the default digital consent age at 16.

Students under 16 may only use the Service when a parent or guardian creates an account on their behalf and manages their access. Parents can add children to their account from the Parent Dashboard. Organizations (schools, tutoring centres) may also add student accounts for enrolled minors under appropriate institutional consent frameworks.

3. Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Not create more than one account per person.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful, educational purposes. You must not:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Reproduce, redistribute, sell, or sublicense worksheet content for commercial purposes.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract content from the Service in bulk.
• Upload or transmit any harmful, offensive, or infringing content.
• Impersonate any person or organization, or falsely represent your affiliation.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on KineticScholar — including worksheets, problems, answer keys, graphics, and software — is the property of KineticScholar or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. No other use is permitted without our prior written consent.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KineticScholar and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (if any).

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
